My Daily Six! #1 - ThermoFit

So have you heard of that Crazy Wrap thing? Lots have. Lots have not. Do you know that It Works has more then just WRAPS? Well they do! And guess what I have a tiny secret... Shhhhh!!!

Well, so my husband and I are overweight. By a lot. Like on our charts at the doctor we are listed as the horrible "O" word obese. We have been on this crazy fat journey for a while now. He has struggled his entire life with being the big guy. I grew up the exact opposite. I actually had issues with eating disorders and had a horrible relationship with food growing up. Well jump up to us getting married and our life got a little chaotic. I was diagnosed with PCOS. We had two children. They were both born premature. So just the stress of life alone got really crazy and the pounds just started packing on. I had just given up. It didn't matter what I tried. Dieting blah blah blah! Dieting is ridiculous. I have tried them all. Pills, oils, foods, protein, no carb, low carb, hypnotherapy. If you have a bigger problem than a few pounds or if you are a lover of food.  IT IS TOO HARD! And rarely works! When or If it does for you GREAT! CONGRATS! You are one in a million! I'm not! 

So... we (me and my honey) have decided to get bariatric weight loss surgery together. He will be getting the gastric bypass. I will be getting the gastric sleeve. We have about 6 weeks to go and our life will be changing drastically. This is not something that you can decide to do one night then go have it done. This has been a 6 month process of classes, workshops, groups, tests, and preparation to get ourselves physically ready and mentally ready for this journey. Both are equally important. Cause it is a huge head game too.

So part of our preparation is learning to eat low calorie food, high protein food, and up up up our water intake. Not only to learn how to do it for after surgery but also to prep our bodies now to get them into shape and to form good habits. And boy oh boy It Works! has been a life saver!!! Personally I noticed ENERGY!!! This was right away. I could get going faster in the mornings. I didn't drag so much. I noticed my carb cravings went away. I was not wanting to snack all day long.
